David Pretel will participate in the Society for the History of Technology (SHOT) 2025 Annual Meeting, held 9–11 October at the University of Luxembourg, where he will present a paper on railways and capitalism in Mexico on the panel Reading for Resistance: Colonialism, Capital & Company Towns and co-convene and speak at the roundtable ERC Projects in the History of Science and Technology: Challenges, Opportunities and Results.
